BDF S2M is a clear window film designed to reject up to 99% of UV rays in the 300–380 nm range while maintaining natural light and outward visibility. It can help reduce UV-related fading of furniture, flooring, artwork, and other furnishings in sun-exposed spaces.
S2M is intended for compatible flat-glass applications in homes, offices, storefronts, and display windows. It is not designed for automotive use, installation over existing window film, or solar heat control.
BDF S2M helps reduce UV exposure while maintaining optical clarity, natural light, and outward visibility. Its clear finish does not add a dark or reflective tint, making it suitable for windows where the original appearance of the glass is important.

The 2 mil film also adds a light layer of glass retention that can help hold smaller glass fragments together following light impacts. It is not a substitute for required safety glazing.
Use two pieces of tape at one corner to help separate the clear backing liner from the film. Clean the glass thoroughly and use plenty of soapy-water solution so the film can be positioned before it adheres.
Once positioned, use a squeegee with firm, overlapping strokes to remove water and air from beneath the film. Follow the installation manual carefully and ask another person to assist with wider panes.
