BDF Nichrome Film - NC20

Buy Decorative Film's High Performance Sun Control Window Nichrome Window Films are more effective in rejecting heat than traditional dyed films. Since these films are sputtered and contain no dye, they boast great efficiency in that they will not fade throughout their use. The alloy of nickel and chromium contained in the Nichrome window films provide a great barrier against solar energy by capturing and dispersing heat throughout the surface it is applied to. These window films are ideal for home/office windows that receive a great amount of sunlight. Available in 20% (Dark), 35% (Medium), 60% (Light), and 70% (Very Light), the Nichrome series is excellent for blocking heat from the sun and providing an effective sun control.

NIckel & CHromium

Premium High-Performance Heat Control NC20 window film contains nickel and chromium alloys that make it effective heat-reducing rate of up to 64%. With a reflective, metallic shade, the NC20 window film will add a tinted look to your window and give it function. The alloy contained in the film is highly resilient and forms an effective barrier against solar energy by capturing and dispersing heat throughout the surface it is applied to.


The NC20 achieves a reduction of incoming heat without making the window and the interior too dark. Because of the light shade that allows more light to pass through than other darker films, the NC20 invites a bright interior environment and provides an excellent view through the window. This makes the NC20 a great choice for those who prioritize having enough sunlight exposure over privacy.

Daytime vs. Night

The effect of any daytime privacy window film will greatly depend on the lighting conditions, because the side exposed to more light will become more reflective and harder to see through. This is why the privacy effect works so well during the day, since the sun usually makes the exterior of your building much, much brighter than the interior. The use of curtains or blinds will be needed for nighttime privacy.

99% UV Rejection

Good for homes and office buildings that are directly exposed to the sun which is the source of UV rays, the NC20 window film provides an excellent UV blocking barrier. Being exposed to UV rays can cause skin problems such as premature aging skin and signs of wrinkles as well as eye problems. The NC20 film rejects about 99% of the UV rays, helping to reduce fading on your precious furniture and pictures.
