BDF NC70 Nichrome Window Film is a very light, high-performance solar control film designed to reduce heat and UV exposure while maintaining natural light and outward visibility.
The film uses a sputtered nickel-chromium alloy to help manage solar energy without relying on traditional dyed-film technology. This dye-free construction provides effective heat rejection while helping the film maintain its appearance over time.
With its Nichrome 70 very light shade, NC70 is particularly well suited for homes, offices, and other spaces where significant sunlight enters through the windows but a dark tint is not desired. Its moderate reflectivity provides solar control without the pronounced mirror-like appearance of highly reflective films.
NC70 also provides up to 99% UV rejection, helping reduce UV exposure that can contribute to fading of interior furnishings. Because of its very light shade, it should be selected primarily for heat and UV control rather than privacy.
The Nichrome series is also available in 20% (Dark), 35% (Medium), and 60% (Light).

INSTALLATION TIPS
